My family has a tradition where we play Secret Santa once a year on Christmas eve. It is one of my favourite traditions as even the adults get all excited and curious about what is hiding under the Christmas tree. We randomly pick the notes with our names written on them and don't tell anyone who we are buying the gift for. This year my sister got up and said: no shame, but I'd like to inform my Secret Santa, whoever that is, that I'd love to get a notebook for my work (she went on being quite specific about what kind of notebook she wanted). I realised that was my chance as well and I spoke up (actually, screamed over my family members); I Love Own candles and I saw them in this and that shop! No shame!

Can you believe it? Christmas is just around the corner and you can feel the joy everywhere you go. We are surrounded by beautiful decorations, happy people and the smell of amazing food. I do not know about you and the area you live in, but the snow here always fails to show up on Christmas Eve. Hopefully, it will be different this year, but it looks like it got stuck on the North Pole once again. This won't erase the smile off my face, however, as I enjoy the food in a warm and cozy embrace of my house and no one can take that away from me! :)

100 Percent Pure is currently one of my favourite brands. They use all natural, organic and vegan ingredients and provide high quality products for all age groups and skin types. This brand is cruelty-free and its packaging is BPA and phthalate free (to be honest, I haven't heard of the second one before. Time to google it). I already wrote a post about 100 Percent Pure Body Wash a few months ago, which you can find HERE. Being incredibly satisfied with it, I decided to purchase new items from the brand. The first one is Super Fruits Scrub + Mask and the second one is Budrock & Neem Healthy Scalp Shampoo.

There is a funny tradition going on in my family; whenever one of my siblings or cousins needs to work on a big and a time consuming school or UNI project, we all end up at my auntie's apartment. We lock ourselves in one of the rooms until we proudly walk out with the finished project in our hands. This time it was my turn and after spending countless hours behind the computer for several days in a row, I have noticed my concentration started dropping incredibly fast. Thankfully, I brought one magic ingredient with me and I soon discovered another magic item that belonged to my auntie. They really helped me and awoke my concentration and brought my productivity back on track. Knowing that many of us struggle with concentration, I wanted to share some tips with you.

Being a big fan of chocolate treats, I sometimes like to dig my head into cooking books and blogs and I try out different recipes. I am not the best when it comes to cooking, hence I prefer simple and fun recipes that don't take too much of my time. One of my favourite food bloggers is definitely Deliciously Ella, whose recipes are usually super simple and beyond delicious. I was inspired by one of them and after not being able to get some of the ingredients, I came up with my own recipe, which I hope you will like as much as I do. Bon Appetit! x

What are your favourite cook books and food bloggers? Any of them vegan/vegetarian as well? :)♥

Let me start this post by saying that I am fully aware that some items on this list are very unpleasant for the wallet. However, I decided to include them simply because I have been admiring them for a while now. That being said, I by no means expect from Mr. Santa to put these under my Christmas tree. Ask my boyfriend and he will tell you slightly annoyed how hard it is to get a present for me, because I worry people will spend too much money on me. Starring at these beautiful items and putting them on a list is free though and I had so much fun creating it. I believe you can get to know me a little bit better through this list as well, as it screams out my personality (*my boyfriend just sent me a text: this list is SO you!), hence I feel comfortable saying these words: welcome to my world! ;)

Reading the Vegan Life magazine is like a little and a very pleasant chore for me; I google almost every single product that is being introduced in the magazine and I write a long, long shopping list. Also, I check out every single competition (please don't sign up for the Demuths Cookery class - I really want to win this one!).

I accidentally deleted the My Skincare Routine, while playing being an IT. Here it is again! Shout out to my fellow clumsy people x
After receiving a few questions regarding my skincare routine, I decided to make a quick video about it. It is quite simple and includes a lot of natural ingredients; you can even eat some of them! Bon Apetit;)

It is no secret that I am a fan of Lush, as it offers countless cruelty-free options. Not to mention the smell that embraces you when you enter their shop and the presentation of the products itself. Bright and lovely products are smiling down to the customers from the shelves and sometimes we cannot help, but walk out of the shop with the Lush “fighting against animal testing” bag and a big smile on the face. I have been thinking of purchasing a lipstick with darker red shade, which is perfect for cooler days, for a while. I have purchased Lush lipstick before (click *HERE* to read more about it) and I have been very satisfied with it, hence I was hoping to be able to find the perfect lipstick shade in their collection. Luckily, I did!

While visiting the capital of Slovenia Ljubljana; a city, which I love for a lot of adorable coffee shops and a growing number of restaurants with cruelty-free options, I was pleasantly surprised to find yet another beautiful place the city has to offer. This time I fell in love with the cruelty-free shop Orca, which offers amazing beauty products.

As you might have noticed, my blog has had a bit of a makeover, which I hope you like as much as I do. One of the bigger changes is enabling comments on the posts via Disqus. Feel free to have a look around to see some of the other *beauty* changes that have been added to the blog. Thank you JB ♥

After purchasing my first set of EcoTools brushes I fell in love with the brand and its story and obviously in the products themselves. It has been a few months since I got the six piece starter kit and I am still using it all the time (click HERE to view my oldies goldies post about my EcoTools love). I came to the conclusion that it was about time to get a new set. Whenever I walked into Boots, I was welcomed by this beautiful EcoTools Fresh & Flawless five piece complexion set. I managed to leave the shop empty handed several times, but I eventually gave up and bought the set.

Let me start this by saying I am not very good with technology. I know the basic stuff, but as soon as you put me in front of a code (or anything that looks similar to a code) my brains shut down. That's why when some of you weren't receiving emails that you signed up for I had no idea what to do. Luckily, that problem has been solved. I do not know how exactly I solved it, to be honest, but I clicked a few things (in a DeeDee from Dexter's laboratory style: Uuu what does this button doooo?) and TADA - emails are back on track!
Because of the fact that a lot of you can't see my posts on social media (I have noticed that only around 5 % or less of you who liked the Facebook page are shown Aniqa Dreams posts in your Facebook Home area) I decided to invite you to follow me on Bloglovin. If you are not interested, that is completely fine, just ignore this post and seize the day :) In case you are one of those people who talked to me about this problem; you can click **HERE** and follow.
What is Bloglovin?
It is a cool platform where you can follow all your favourite blogs and don't miss new posts. I am a bit obsessed, to be honest :P If you want to check it out click HERE or HERE.
Thank you so much for your support! ♥

My boyfriend and I have been traveling for about a week now and we had a great time in Ljubljana, which is the capital of Slovenia - a tiny country in Europe. I was planning on sharing some photos of the capital with you, but then I realised the majority of the photos included food. I then had to admit to myself that I too became one of those people who take photos of their feast before they eat it. So here I am a bit ashamed, however, still determined to share my Monday Munchies with you. Hope you like!

Before we went abroad my boyfriend and I decided to go to one of our favourite vegetarian restaurants in central London - Tibits. With plenty of options for vegans the restaurant welcomes all types of guests; from veggies to omnivores who like delicious food. It might surprise you, but here is where I tried fried onion rings for the first time a few month ago. Ever since that I always make sure I put at least a few onion rings on my plate, because they are delicious! I am also a big fan of avocado salad in Tibits! I have cravings just by looking at these photos.

Any candle fans out there? Please raise your hands. I am! Specially in the holiday season; they are everywhere calling us from the shelves with their lovely scents. I forbid myself to buy them, because I really wanted to make them myself. I am really glad I stuck to my decision, because I love the final result! They are very simple to make (although you do have to be careful when dealing with the hot wax) and decorating them was a lot of fun. I made them with my boyfriend and it almost felt like Christmas is already here. Maybe because we got carried away with Christmasy decorations. I have no regrets!
Check out my video below to see how you can make these lovelies as well:)

Oh, how I love these chocolates! I was standing in front of the shelf in Planet Organic the other day, for probably 5 minutes, deciding, which Pana chocolate should I get. You know when you walk into the shop thinking you are only buying one item and you leave with at least two? Yes, that's what happened to me. Undecided between the coconut and goji, and the nuts flavours I grabbed both of them. Don't judge!

Shout out to all the cats out there. The real ones AND the Halloween ones :)
This lovely dress that I am wearing is from People Tree; a brand that sells amazing Fair Trade clothes. They help artisans and farmers help themselves by using their traditional skills. They support organic agriculture and producing by hand, which reduces CO2 emissions and help protect our lovely planet.

After receiving some emails from you guys saying that I should start making youtube videos, I hid myself under the bed. This is because putting myself out there seems quite scary to me, but after talking to some of you, I decided to face my fears (and come out from under the bed). This is also what I decided to talk about in my first video.
I really hope you enjoy it! Feel free to tell me what you think and maybe even like and subscribe ;) Also, you can share the video with your friends and other lovely people x

Being a vegan, I sometimes receive questions similar to “What do you eat then?” Let me tell you, I eat A LOT. My never ending love for food is one of the main reasons why I also love food shopping, however, I am not very patient when it comes to clothes shopping (buying clothes online is how I normally roll). I am quite lucky, because I don't crave sweet things too often, but when I do, I often go for raw desserts. The Raw Vanilla Berry Tart by Inspiral is one of my favourites. It is so fresh yet sweet with an amazing gooey bottom layer. Ah, heaven! My boyfriend went for the Raw Tiramisu Cake the other day, which is also very good, but it can't beat my love for the Vanilla Berry Tart.

I found it! Everyone, I found my (so far) favourite mineral foundation! I am really excited to be able to say that, because it took me a long time to find it. There are a lot of cruelty-free foundations out there, but I wanted to get one that is not too expensive (as I am already successful at spending a bit too much money on quality products - my second name is quality over quantity) yet still a very good quality and one that obviously suits my skin. My boyfriend and I decided to walk 6 miles through Hyde Park to Belgravia where Mr. Google told me I could personally buy this product; as I do not like buying makeup over the internet (maybe eyeshadow, but definitely not foundation). Getting fit and shopping at the same time - not too bad! It was a lovely walk, however, when we finally arrived at the shop; the lady wasn't very helpful, but I still decided to go home with this Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF15. My skin is quite light so I decided to go for the Barely Buff shade.

*I need to get this out of me*
In the past few days I came across a news report which says that veganism and vegetarianism are not healthy for people. It was all put together as a joke; the debate was about veg peoples' sperm being not as good as meat eaters' sperm. They were also making fun of veg lifestyle as a whole, however, I loved the end of the report where they asked people on the street whether they were vegan and if they had any children. Most of them were just making fun. One man, however, admitted to have been vegan for over 20 years with 13 children. That made me smile bananas :) P.S. - isn't India one of the most populated countries in the world with almost half of them being vegetarian?
I don't like it when some try to show veganism or vegetarianism in a negative way. I believe it is a beautiful thing; being a voice for the voiceless. It is important to speak up against the meat, fur, leather and even dairy industry, because they are cruel to animals who did no harm to anyone.
These industries break animals' bones, they let them live in the smallest cages possible for years until they are killed. Animals are denied the opportunity to raise their young, feel the sun on their faces and breathe fresh air. Imagine being forced to live crowded together by the thousands on factory farms. Many chickens have their beaks cut off with a hot blade when they are just a few weeks old; piglets have their tails chopped off and their teeth clipped with pliers, male calves are castrated with tight bands around their testicles (without the use of any painkillers - which costs money and makes less profit). I'm definitely sure you will agree that this is not kind to animals. They are such beautiful and kind creatures and I think they deserve way more love and respect from us.
More and more people are deciding to do something about these horrible industries; some of them decide to stop supporting the cruelty in the fashion industry (they do not buy fur, leather, wool and silk), the beauty industry (they use products that are not tested on animals, products that are labeled with vegetarian and vegan certificates). There is also an incredibly fast growing number of people who ditch meat and dairy products from their menus. All because they want to help animals, the environment and/or want to improve their health. This is wonderful news, but not everyone likes it. That's why there are some who are trying to spread negative thoughts about veganism. Please just listen to your heart the next time you are thinking of buying a dead animal and to try and neglect the criticism such as people quoting studies and the like... The point is to not blindly follow what people say but rather to do your own research and to follow what you believe is true and right. This is a step by step process and every decision matters. This is why it is important to not just think about it and say “Wow, you are a vegan, that's great! I could never do it myself though.” I hear that a lot. Please, just try. Be the change you want to see in the world x
We can do this together. I believe in us :) ♥

Weekend is almost here and I decided to write Friday Favorites again. I had a lot of fun this week and wanted to share a few bits and bobs that brightened my week with you guys.
Favourite Thoughts by May The Thoughts Be With You
I met the lovely creator of May The Thoughts Be With You in Portobello Market the other day and I purchased her book, which is filled with cute designs and lovely quotes just like “The Bee of Tranquility”. I read a few quotes every day, mostly just before I go to bed and I love it! It makes me fall asleep with a smile on my face :)
Favourite shoes by Katz & Birds
Katz & Birds is a very talented designer who only uses cruelty-free materials in her products. I love all the details and these foxes are one of my favourite. Pretty, pretty for autumn days.
Favourite News by Peta India: India Bans Import of Animal-Tested Cosmetics
Quote from the page: “The Indian Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has made an announcement that will save millions of animals from being blinded, poisoned and killed in cruel and useless tests for products sold to India’s billion-plus population. In a move that will bring cheers from around the world, the Ministry has now officially banned animal-tested cosmetics from being imported into India. The decision will be implemented in November.” Woop, woop! :)
Favourite recipe by Kalel
Lovely Kalel started her new Youtube channel and I instantly fell in love with this recipe - Healthy Artichoke Alfredo (vegan). I strongly recommend you try it.
What are your Friday Favorites? Feel free to share them with me :) ♥

Pacifica perfumes have been on my “to buy” list for a while and my heart jumped the other day when I got Island Vanilla as a present. Say what?! It is my favourite scent and I am wearing it as I am writing this post. I would love to eat it (I say that about too many products, don't I...), but luckily I know it better. Being bad at describing scents, I decided to rather write the official description on the packaging, which says: Tahitian vanilla, loved for its fruity and slightly floral aroma, is anchored with rich bourbon vanilla notes. If you are like me and not sure about ordering perfumes online, you can find these perfumes in Planet Organic or Whole Foods Market. That's where I smelled the whole collection and I must admit that some of them really weren't my cup of tea, but I did fall in love with two other sweet scents.
INGREDIENTS: alcohol denat (natural grain), parfum (Pacifica's own blend of essential oils contains: d-limonene), aqua.
Pacifica perfumes are made in the USA, they are without parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol and they are vegan :) Portion of proceeds also supports clean water. I was not aware of that until I got the perfume and read the packaging. I will probably look for more products from this brand from now on, because I love supporting companies, which do good for the planet as well.
Also, I love, love the packaging - pretty and elegant white and pink colours with a floral design. Island Vanilla (btw, don't you just feel like you are on an island somewhere in the middle of paradise when saying the name?) has 10ml, which I love, because I can put it in my cabin baggage when flying.
You can buy this lovely product HERE
Do you know Pacifica? What do you think about it? ♥

Monkee Genes - what a great name! I have a soft spot for original and interesting names and that was one of the main reasons I instantly fell in love with this brand. Not to mention these jeans have bananas on their buttons, which I eat almost every day (bananas, not buttons). I have been checking out Monkee Genes for a while and I finally purchased them a few days ago in a cruelty-free shop The Third Estate near Camden Town. I got Bamboo Classic Skinny and they are super comfortable. The brand is PETA approved and does not support slave labour or child labour. In other words: No blood, no sweat, no tears. What a great message!
While trying to pose, an older lady walked by and asked: Are you taking the photos of the patch? You are covering it a bit. Here, let me help you. And she fixed my jacket, wished us a good day and walked away down the road. Thank you, kind stranger! :)
Do you have any Monkee Genes in your closet? What do you think about them? ♥

Winter is just around the corner and I decided to purchase a lip balm that will keep my lips from getting dry. Luckily, I normally don't have a problem with dry lips and I was basically just looking for an excuse to get this divine smelling product by Hurraw. It smells like black cherry, which makes me want to eat it constantly. I wish I could somehow include the smell in this post so you could enjoy it with me. Besides making a party for my nose, this lip balm is also a very good moisturiser and I love its consistency - it makes my lips incredibly soft. The ingredients are amazing: sweet almond oil, candelilla wax, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil, cocoa seed butter, castor seed oil, olive fruit oil, organic flavours and vitamin e. It is raw (hurRAW!), vegan and organic. The lip balm is cold pressed and it is recommended that it is kept in a place with a normal temperature (between 4 and 22 Celsius). Probably one of the best things you can get for your lips these days. I would definitely recommend it.
You can get this lovely product HERE
Have a lovely day you guys x

Once a week the postman delivers a lovely surprise Graze; a snack box. It is always fun opening, and seeing what snacks we have got. If you haven't heard of it before, here is how it works:
1. You go to their website Graze and choose the snacks you like
2. They hand pick a box for you with 4 different snacks
3. The box gets delivered to your home or work
4. Bon apetit!
Once you create an account with them, you can choose your dietary preferences i.e. vegetarian snacks, vegan snacks, snacks that don't contain gluten etc. Graze is not a meat-free brand, but you can easily make your box veggy or gluten free (I like gluten though!:) ) etc.
Let me just say that this is not a PR placement in anyway (actually, none of my posts have been unless stated otherwise), I simply wanted to share the tiny joy we get once a week with this box. Sometimes the box has a lot of vegetarian snacks, which I avoid and I leave my boyfriend to munch on, but I do get my lovely vegan snacks as well. So it is a yumm yumm situation for the both of us.
Dried mango, pineapple and raisins. SO GOOD!
Lemon cake with tea. How cute is that?
Cake and tea served properly. It does look pretty, doesn't it :)
Do you know Graze? What do you think about it?
